The Company Passing the Review of Establishing Metrological Technology Institutions Ranking the Third Level for National Defense and the Metrological Supervision and Inspection Conducted by Weapons and Equipment Manufacturing Units

　　(Correspondent Tu Xiaorong)The Administration of Science,Technology and Industry for National Defense of Shaanxi province carried out the review of establishing metrological technology institutions ranking third level for national defense in our company and conducted supervision and inspection over the metrological work of the weapons and equipment manufacturing units on August 22 and 23.

　　The members of the evaluating penal,with reference to the requirements,examined the implementation of the laws and regulations concerning metrology,the building and maintenance of standard metrological instruments,the ability in metrological verification and calibration,the qualification for verification/calibration personnel,the dynamic management of mettrological instruments,the effectiveness of quantity transmission and metrology insurance.The panel looked through the documents regarding metrological management,reviewed the records about standard metrological instruments and quantity transmission;the penal evaluated our capability in metrological organizing and management,metrological verification,metrological insurance and metrological research.Acting in accordance with the opinions put forward by the penal,we passed the inspection successfully.

　　At the end of the meeting,Zhang Wanfei,head of the sci-tech and quality sector in the Administration of Science,Technology and Industry for National Defense of Shaanxi province,pledged full recognition to our metrological work and congratulate us on successfully passing the two checks;meanwhile,he pointed out that there exist“weakness”in the management of metrological model and the training of metrological personnel.He hoped that the company would pay attention to these two parts and improve metrological ability.Zhou Shimin,vice-general manager of the company,asserted that the company will take further steps to upgrade the metrological management system and step up efforts to make sure the laws and regulations concerning metrology are well-implemented and metrological personnel’s professional skills well-developed.As such,we can manufacture product of assured quality with more advanced metrological technologies.
