Help young employees grow up and quickly integrate into the design work-The First Designer Salon Event of R&D Design Center
The R&D Design Center has carefully planned the themed salon activities since its launch.It soon organized the first activity with the theme of"help young employees grow up and quickly integrate into corporate culture"and invited old,middle-aged and young excellent employee representatives from R&D Design Center to exchange experience.
Zhang Chi,Outstanding Young Employee Representative,Shaanxi Excellent Youth and Model Worker of the Company firstly shared the experience.He took the status transition from a new recruit as an example to describe his journey from an intern to a technical backbone.He said that the new employees should focus on learning at the present stage,have a strong driving force during work,and actively seek advice from experienced seniors to enhance their knowledge reserve and design ability.In fact,we are afraid of making mistakes for many times,so we don't dare to ask a lot of problems,or to try a lot of things.We think it is the safest way of transition,but we don't know that we have lost a lot of learning opportunities.
Then,Zhou Hongbo,the chief designer and middle-aged outstanding employee representative,shared his experience.He has worked at the Company for 15 years and has cultivated many excellent young people.He took five years as a break point.He described how to observe learning as an apprentice in the first five years of his work,how to further improve himself as backbone force of model development in the middle five years and create value for the Company,and how to lead by example when training apprentices in the last five years and guarantee the orderly heritage of design work.He said,in the process of work,he kept the working habit of"always taking notes and summarizing every day".In addition,he recorded the daily work,summarized the experiences of doing these works and analyzed the difficulties of doing the work and its solutions to know where to improve and where to stay,thus constantly improving himself.The work log seems simple,but it is not easy to stick to it.What we learn from it is not only an efficient working method,but also a persistent spirit of more than a decade.It is extraordinary to do ordinary things well,so we should do our best to finish every little thing well during work.
Finally,Qiao Jianjun,senior outstanding employee,shared his experience with the theme of"Develop the integrated R&D ability of product design,manufacturing and use".He is one of the oldest designers in the Company,and most of the designers at the R&D Design Center are trained by him.During sharing this time,he stood in an overall perspective,and deeply analyzed a good designer's self-cultivation.He supplemented professional knowledge for everyone from many ways,from preliminarily mastering the ability of designing calculation report and independently designing drawings,to be familiar with the Company's technical state management procedures and intervention of model research work,which is just the first step.Then we need to collect the various design and technological problems in the development process by going into the production line or other ways,including cold-hot parts technology,assembly and debugging problems,etc.What is more,we should deal with the problems in the army and airport,and collect and sort out the problems that appear in the process.Through sorting out and analyzing the various problems collected,review any improvement of design process and study the cold-hot new technology.Mr.Qiao generously shared his years of experience in the process of developing the model,which involved the design of mechanical electronics,for example,the layout of the components on the circuit board(for heat dissipation)and reinforcement(vibration adaptability);considering the mechanical strength and the surface treatment technology of corrosion protection;and improving the mechanical properties of parts by reforming heat treatment technology to achieve weight loss.The detailed sharing inspired and refreshed new designers who just engage in model development.As the spark of thinking was ignited,he set up new heights,and put forward the limitations of existing development methods.For example,the scope of the preferential contents of materials and components may not cover the requirements of use and need to be updated;some mathematical models,design parameters and validation parameters are not accurate in the design standard,so it is necessary to choose the correct mathematical model and obtain the correct design parameters and so on.He encouraged us to innovate and to break the limits.Furthermore,he told us to learn to abandon those technical data of low engineering value and to take the key points.He pointed out the direction for new employees who just engage in models and are hard to choose technical data.
Everyone's wonderful sharing has lit up the atmosphere.During the Q&A,the new employees asked questions of all sides,and the old masters patiently cleared up confusion.Even in the case of such a very detailed question as parameter setting in the simulation of airplane wheel asked by a new employee,Jiao Kun,director of R&D Design Center also gave detailed solutions.In the warm environment of the salon,the experience and lessons of the old employees and the spirit of the brake people are passed down,the good design tradition continues,and the excellent corporate culture is inherited.In the activity,when old masters shared their own experience,Kang Min,the host,can refine the key points immediately so that new employees can further understand the speeches made by old masters,so designer salon has become a bridge between the old masters and new employees so that everyone can freely speak here and exchange ideas.
